Our Mission
At Oceanside Community Services, LLP, we promote the well-being of individuals and families through supportive, integrated, and collaborative care. We specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, using evidence-based practices to support individuals in living safe, independent, and fulfilling lives.
Our Approach
Our work is guided by individualized treatment planning, evidence-based practices, ongoing evaluation of treatment effectiveness, and collaboration with medical providers and community services. We also emphasize risk management and community safety. We strive to make services accessible and responsive to each individual’s needs.

Outpatient Counseling
Oceanside Community Services provides outpatient counseling to children, adolescents, and adults with mental health and co-occurring conditions. Services focus on strengthening individual resources, building resilience, and supporting long-term well-being.
Clinical approaches include:
- Psychotherapy and supportive counseling
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Harm-reduction approaches
- Structural family therapy
- Solution-focused therapy
- Treatment for problematic sexualized behaviors (PSB)
Neuropsychological Evaluations
Neuropsychological evaluations allow the individual to discover their cognitive strengths and weaknesses, acquire accurate cognitive and psychological diagnoses, and gain recommendations for next steps and appropriate services.
Evaluations are conducted by licensed clinical neuropsychologists:

Problematic Sexualized Behavior (PSB) Risk Assessment
Oceanside offers comprehensive PSB risk assessments for youth, evaluating both historical behaviors and the developmental, personal, and environmental factors that influence risk and recovery.
Assessments include:
- Review of the development and context of problematic sexualized behaviors
- Identification of risk and protective factors
- Evaluation of motivation, treatment responsiveness, and projected outcomes
- Diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations
Risk determinations are based on thorough clinical evaluation using evidence-based tools, including:
- Juvenile Sex Offender Assessment Protocol-II (J-SOAP-II)
- Structured Assessment of Protective Factors – Youth Version (SAPROF-YV)

Peer Support Services
Oceanside Community Services collaborates with a community peer support specialist who provides support to individuals impacted by trauma, including domestic violence, custody challenges, and child protective involvement.
